Emma Holten is an online human rights activist and feminist
After being the victim of a digital sexual violation in 2011, she became aware of the pitfalls of structural oppression and gendered violence, online and offline. This led to the activist project CONSENT, which became a viral success.
She has delivered keynotes at the Conference on the Status of Women at the UN, The Next Web, TEDxVienna and Point Festival and works for Oxfam IBIS looking at gender and economic inequality
Clare McGlynn QC (Hon) is a Professor of Law at Durham University
She works with policy-makers, voluntary organisations and MPs to improve laws surrounding sexual violence, pornography and image-based sexual abuse.
She has worked with Facebook to improve their responses to intimate image abuse and helps shape current criminal laws on ‘revenge porn’ and ‘upskirting’ with her recent report making recommendations for further change.
